Australians love a sun kissed tan. It makes us feel healthier, slimmer and sexier.
But it is our love of the sun that gives us the highest incidence of skin cancer
in the world today – Every 90 seconds someone is diagnosed with skin cancer.

At Shimmer Body Studio, we offer a safer alternative to the sun and solariums,
to give you that natural looking, flawless tan you want.

OUR PRODUCT

Liquid Sun is known as the most natural looking sunless tan on the market today. It is formulated using Australian organic ingredients, and containing no petrochemicals, artificial oils, colours or preservatives. It is 99% natural based, so it is great for sensitive skin types as well. Our product also contains hydrating and skin firming ingredients to help improve the tone and texture of your skin, making you look more youthful and healthier.

There are 3 shades of colour to choose from, depending on the depth of tan you desire and it takes approximately 20 minutes to apply.

HOW IS THE TAN APPLIED?

The tan is applied to the body using a soft spray, giving you an instant, flawless glow. We supply complimentary disposable g-strings and shower caps, or you can wear your own underwear (dark is best to avoid staining), or some clients prefer to be naked – it’s up to you!

As we offer a studio or mobile service, it means that you can be tanned in the privacy and comfort of your own home, or in our conveniently located studio.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE AND AFTER

For the best possible results, we recommend that you exfoliate your entire body before application and do not apply any deodorant, moisturiser, makeup or perfumes before your appointment. Any hair removal should be done 24 hours prior. Wear dark loose clothing after your spray tan and wait at least 5 hours before showering to allow your tan time to develop. Avoid any exfoliation of your skin and make sure you moisturise after every shower. Following these tips will help keep your tan looking perfect for longer.
                                     

Your tan will last up to 1 week and you are able to touch it up yourself using one of our easy to use products available for purchase.

Exfoliate and start again when your tan starts looking patchy.
